A Rare Aragonite Flower from Yunchangping Mine,Dadongla Hg-Zn ore Field, Guizhou Prov., China. Ex Lavinsky collection
Offering a rare find, a Aragonite crystal flower cluster. It has radial crystal spikes with some darker toward the tips. The piece sits well and weighs 50.1 grams. It is about 2 1/8 inch across by 1.5 inch tall. (about as bib as a golf ball if round). It is in excellent condition with only a few missing spikes. Mined in Yunchangping Mine,Dadongla Hg-Zn ore Field, Guizhou Prov., China. The specimen was in R. Lavinsky collection. These are impossible to find so here it is. The piece is fragile but I can ship safely on cotton batting.
