Offering a unique wild rare Laschet Surgeon's Knife with Tortoise Shell Handles. Made in 1890's by the C. Wright & Co. 08 New Bond Street, London, England. This was a dental tool used in cutting of gums. All I’ve had in the past had no backsprings... this one does and both blades snap very well. No cracks in the handles, the back spring is strong with both blades snapping hard. Measure is 3 1/8 inch closed. Both blade tips are wide ended to use as a scraping tool. Both are mighty sharp and full. The appear never sharpened. The knife is tight and made extremely well. Above excellent without issues.
