Large Amethyst Stalactite Slice from South Parana, Artigas, Uruguay
You got to love the intricate patterns around the ring...my favorite part. This two side polished slice measures 3 1/8 inch across by about 1/4 inch thick. Weight: 2.6 ounces. I polished it to mirror finish and that took loads of time. All in all it came out really nice. No damage, no repairs. It comes from Southern Parana Basalt Basin, Artigas, Uruguay....a most beautiful place on this earth!
