Large flame orange 36.2 Gram Natural Double Terminated Imperial Topaz, Oro Preto, Brazil
Here is a classic Imperial Topaz from Oro Preto, Brazil. The gemstone is quite large compared to what's coming out of the mine these days. The outside surface of the crystal is smooth with striations with the inside as shown in the photos, typical for this find. I did prep work on the crystal is all which is cleaning. The crystal is 100% Natural and Double Terminated. Measure is 2.25 inch tall at 36.2 grams (not carats). The crystal is in excellent shape. There is a natural formation on the edge of the termination...It could be a chip but under magnification I think it's natural. All in all a bright classic gemstone that will increase in value over time for it's size. Overseas ships express only.
