Tabasco geodes, also known as Illianites, are the smallest geode formation in the world. They are found in basalt flows near the town of Tabasco, Zacatecas, Mexico. 1 3/8 inch each. Note the perfect crystal amethyst quartz point that formed inside the geode. Sold as a matched pair as shown that have been cut in half and polished to reveal the crystal cave inside. Stands included.
