Offering our finest Gem Ametrine. This is coming out of our private stash of a crystal obtained in the 90's. Excellent color zones. Sharp distinct rich purple with clean golden color. The crystal is in the top 1 percent for quality. The termination is pristine, sharp and well formed with side car crystal growth all with no damage. We searched the Tucson show and came away with nothing last year. Natural Ametrine crystals are no longer being found at the Anahi Mine. Production of straight amethyst is still being mined but no Ametrine. Back in the day we sat on the floor of the number one importer for this material and went through dozens of flats. All were in damaged condition with large bashes. We were lucky have found this perfect crystal and put it away for years. Last photo shows the bottom, not broken but terminated.
The Anahi Mine lies in a heavily-forested area of plains and rolling hills in the tropical lowlands of far eastern Bolivia, close to the border of Brazil. The mine is located at the La Gaiba mining district, Ángel Sandoval Province, Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Measure is 5.75 inches tall. We have no others. This is the only one we have had that is pristine. Simple stand included.
