Classic gem tourmaline from the famous cranberry find of 2015. That rich red. Cruzeiro mine, São José da Safira, Minas Gerais, Brazil, one of the most important gem and specimen mines in the world. One can easily see why looking at this fine gem crystal. Color gets no better than this gem illustrates. Hand selected from one of the mines owners in Tucson. The crystal is exceptionally lustrous with bright rich red filling the crystal. The termination is typical for this mine and without damage. You see some natural pocket growth interruption and not damage. Complete crystal at 30 grams. 42 mm tall. No damage. Invest in the best don’t be fooled by non transparent crystals… buy gem quality.
