Offering an interesting Halite with Tolbachite inclusions. Geometric formation. Mined Polkowice-Sieroszowice Mine, Glogow County, Lower Silesia, Poland. 2.75 inch by 2 inch. We have only seen a few other Halite specimens from this mine, and they didn't have color quite like this. The captivating green/black/gray hue is what immediately draws the eye on this piece. The crystallization is superb for the species with amazingly sharp, lustrous, skeletal cubic faces and three-dimensional form. The darker color is caused by inclusions of the rare copper halide, Tolbachite, which is only found in a few places in the world.
