Offering an excellent large Elbaite var. Tourmaline. Excellent translucent crystal with a perfectly formed termination which has sharp angles and a cats eye appearance. Rich green in back lighting as well as in a lite cabinet. Custom thick Acrylic base with location etched (not tape). Discovered at the Vakinankaratra deposit, Madagascar. Weight of crystal alone is 54.7 grams. 2.5 inch tall. This is a fine tourmaline sourced by a family digging on their claim at the Vakinankaratra deposit. USA sale only
