Offering an outstanding example from the highly desirable Minerva No. 1 mine, Cave-In-Rock, Illinois. Fluorite, calcite with a knob of Sphalerite at it's base. The crystal is well formed with 2 main cubes and a growth of contrasting calcite crystals. Back light is beautiful as well as front lighting. Photos were all shot outdoors and are true to the specimen. 3.5 inch by 4 inches tall by 2 1/8 inch deep. All in excellent condition with some calcite crystals fractured mainly around the edge.
