Offering a large specimen of Vanadinite with a druz coating. Well formed large crystals with nice luster. Brown to dark reds in color. Mined at ACF Mine, Mibladen, Aït Oufella Caïdat, Midelt Cercle, Midelt Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco. This specimen is in excellent condition. 3.75 inch across by 2.25 inch tall by 1 5/8 inch deep. Large and heavy at 1 pound 2.4 ounce. Solid specimen and a easy no damage ship.

Vanadinite is a mineral belonging to the apatite group of phosphates, with the chemical formula Pb5(VO4)3Cl. It is one of the main industrial ores of the metal vanadium. A dense, brittle mineral, it is usually found in the form of red hexagonal crystals.
